New Years Eve Bell Ringing

The Little White Church will ring in the New Year on New Year’s Eve with a ringing of the church bell at 7 p.m. EST. This corresponds to 12 midnight Greenwich Mean Time, or GMT. As the earth rotates, 0 degrees longitude is the first location in the world where 2023 will begin.
This is also called Coordinated Universal Time. The astronauts on the International Space Station will celebrate the New Year then.
