PEACEFUL FOREST
TAKUMI KATO, TAIKO DRUMMER
SUNDAY AUGUST 16TH AT 4:00 PM
Takumi Kato, a world champion Taiko drummer, performs traditional Japanese drumming with his three children.
Takumi was in America at the time of the 9 / 11 attacks, and he decided that he wanted to offer the world something that would promote peace and harmony. The family is now on a journey to encourage peace by presenting 1,000 Peaceful Forest performances across the U.S., with at least one in each state. We are happy to host them here in Eaton, as they share their amazing talents with a New Hampshire audience for the first time.
ADAM SWANSON, PIANIST AND ENTERTAINER
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 15TH AT 7PM
Four-time world champion old-time piano player, Adam Swanson has performed around the world, and in the US, including Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center. Selections will include Ragtime, Gershwin, Jazz — music from the Great American Songbook.
