Takumi Kato is a world champion Taiko drummer from Japan who performs alongside his three children.
Takumi gained recognition in 2008 when he won the grand prize in the Big Japanese Drum category at the 7th Tokyo International Wadaiko Competition. Following this achievement, he established a studio in his hometown called “Forest of NUKUMORI.”
ADAM SWANSON, PIANIST AND ENTERTAINER
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 15TH AT 7PM
Four-time world champion old-time piano player, Adam Swanson has performed around the world, and in the US, including Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center. Selections will include Ragtime, Gershwin, Jazz — music from the Great American Songbook.
